Desserts First Bowling Green - March 27, 2008
On March 27, 2008, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana's Caveland Service Center will hold its first annual Desserts First fundraising event. Bowling Green's finest restaurant chefs will create original desserts using the well-known Girl Scout Cookie varieties as the key ingredient and present them for tasting at the Hilton Garden Inn in Bowling Green. This signature event is open to the public at large and will create an opportunity in which guests may network and enjoy an evening with friends, while sampling delicious, one-of-a-kind desserts created for this event. The evening will also include music, hors d’oeuvres, auctions, a judging crowning the best dessert of the event, and many more surprises!
All funds raised from this event will go to Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana, which serves over 22,000 girls and 6,800 adult volunteers in 60 counties in central and western Kentucky and southern Indiana.
