Make a Basket Out of String!

Materials Needed:

• White glue
• Water
• Colored string or twine
• Large balloon
• Scissors
• Decorative items

Directions:

Mix some white glue with a small amount of water to thin the glue. Dip colored twine in the white glue and water mixture.

Blow up a large balloon and wrap the wet twine around the entire balloon. Hang up to dry for about 24 hours. When dry, pop the balloon.

With the tail side of the balloon up, cut an opening in the side. Fill the inside bottom with whatever you like. You can even decorate the outside. Put a string in the top to hang up the basket.
