Create Your Own Holiday
Who says you have to be a card company or federal government to create a Holiday? Any day can be a holiday for you!
Here are some examples:
 July 13 - kiss your dogs ear day- August- be kind to your socks month...make sure they always have their match.
- Ice cream sundae month..... Every Sunday is a sundae day!
- May 5- Eat dessert first day.
- June 12, White and Green day
Here’s how to create your own special holiday…
- Choose a day. You still have to go to school, but you can share your holiday with your classmates.
- Choose a name for your holiday.
- Make cards or signs with your holiday on them using paper, markers, crayons, or anything else you have.
- Give a card to your parent, your teacher, or someone else special.
- Have a party for your holiday with snacks and friends.
- Celebrate all day!
