Homemade Lip Gloss

Materials Needed:

• 1 teaspoon honey
• 1 Tablespoon solid vegetable shortening
• 1 packet unsweetened flavored powdered drink mix (such as Kool-Aid)
• 1 Tablespoon hot water

Directions:

Mix honey and shortening. In a separate bowl, stir powdered drink mix and water until dissolved. Add water mixture one drop at a time to honey/shortening mix until you like the color and consistency. Store in old lip gloss containers, film canisters, etc. Will last up to 3 days, must be kept refrigerated. Makes enough for two or three girls.
