Camp Properties - Barren Ridge

Online summer resident camp registration is available for those wishing to register for one session without a buddy. (Please note that bus fees are built into the price. If your Girl Scout does not plan to ride the bus, please email us so that we may provide a credit after you register.)

Located on the Barren River Reservoir near Glasgow, KY, this 220-acre site has a troop house, a picnic shelter, and primitive camping/wilderness activities/exploring. A platform tent unit is also under construction. Swimming and canoeing are available. It is an ideal adventure for older girls. The troop house has a fireplace and may not be comfortably warm in very cold weather. A solar shower is available for summer use. Repair and Information Cards

In an attempt to respond faster to your identified maintenance and safety concerns on our properties, we have placed Repair and Information cards in all of the units. If you see a problem in the camp, write it down on the card. Place the completed card in the slot provided, or send it to Jed Johnson at the posted address. Thanks for helping the program staff better care for the camps.
