Tired of the same old stuff? Girl Scout Juniors get to try new things like:
-
Girl Scout Juniors earn badges and discover what girl power is all about through new activities and by learning to take charge of their own plans. They gain self-confidence as they explore the world in partnership with their troop/group leaders.
Girl Scout Juniors can also receive participation patches and do good work in the world around them using the It's Your World -- Change It! and the new It's Your Planet -- Love It! Girl Scout Leadership Journeys.

Being a Girl Scout is about having fun and making friends — but it's more than that. Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place.
Learn more about what it means to be a Girl Scout.
Journeys provide an important foundation for each level in Girl Scouting for girls and volunteers. Just by following a journey, members will be engaging in the Girl Scout Leadership Experience (and practicing some Girl Scout traditions!). When the Journey ends, girls and their volunteers can apply what they have learned to everything else they do in Girl Scouting.
It's Your World -- Change It!
Create your own "herstory" and figure out the Power of One, the Power of Team and the Power of Community. Plus, check out what Dez says about taking action and making change.
Be An Agent Of Change!
In this journey, Girl Scout Juniors create a circle of fun and friendship as they move from a deeper understanding of themselves to discovering how powerful they are as a team; to realizing the added strength they gain by reaching out to the wider community.
Juniors can earn three awards, each representing one of the powers they discover and explore: the power of one, the power of a team and the power of community. Their keepsake bracelet, visualizes the circles of power the girls explore.
It's Your Planet -- Love It!
While Loving the Planet, Get Outside! Girls and their volunteers get lots of ideas for hiking, camping, testing the air, and watching the stars.
Get Moving!
Girls explore the energy inside them, the energy used in their places and spaces, and the energy of getting themselves from here to there. A new comic story, “!Vamos Ya!” will inspire the action (walking school bus anyone?) and Dez, the fashionista spider, is back and trying to figure out life “off the grid.”
Along the way, Juniors can earn Energize, Investigate and Innovate awards! Their keepsake is a cord necklace with silver charm imprinted with words "Energize", Investigate", and "Innovate". "Mood" stone changes color with body temperature.
